Alex Altizer – CEO
I grew up in Kirkland WA, and currently live in Bothell WA. I have a daughter who lives in California and a son who lives with me. My girlfriend and I have 3 dogs, a cat and 12 pet fish. In my personal time, I enjoy taking our boat out into the Puget Sound, motorcycling, mountain biking on the trails and sitting out on the deck relaxing at night looking at the stars. What I want to see myself accomplish is to travel around the United States, Europe and Asia on my motorcycle. I started at Eastside in June of 2000 as a mentorship program to buy the business from the founder Ralph Townsend. In May of 2007, we took over ownership. My favorite part of my job is seeing our employees grow. From learning new things and being able to implement them to a customer and to see our employees enjoy their personal time with their families and have a good life/work balance. I look forward to the journey and am grateful for all the people who have gotten Eastside to the point we are at and where we will go.

Don Leland – General Manager
I grew up in what once was small-town Edmonds, and currently live in Kirkland, WA. My background in software, sales and business development combined with a degree in Business Management and topped off with my passion for serving others led me into pest control in 2009, and ultimately to working with the fantastic family that is Eastside Exterminators.
In 2014 I co-founded USPMPA.org, a national industry association for small to mid-sized pest control companies. In my personal life, I enjoy the Pacific Northwest with my family and our Japanese Akita. I’ve had the good fortune to travel the world and all but 11 of the States which are still on my “to-do” list!
I truly enjoy working with our staff and serving you. I welcome your feedback so feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

I am a financial and sales professional with extensive experience in the residential real estate and pest control industries. My experience in these industries and in managing the financial affairs of numerous residential and commercial owner’s associations has proved to be a great training ground for my current position. At Eastside, I enjoy analyzing the financial health of the company, the budgeting process and forecasting. I was raised in Garden City Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, and enjoy returning there to visit friends and family. I hope to one day spend time traveling the country and visiting our nations national parks. I like to spend my off-time with my wife and family enjoying the natural beauty of Washington State.
Sharon Roebuck – Operations Manager
I moved to Seattle from my hometown Denver Colorado five years ago. I quickly fell in love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I am proud to call it my home. My education includes Early Childhood Education and Business Administration. I have enjoyed a long Career in Business Management including owning and running my own business. I was also privileged to serve on several non-profit boards that allowed me to contribute to the community I lived in. Eastside Exterminators has afforded me the opportunity to see a different side of Pest Control that focuses on complete home protection and customer centered services. Every day is exciting at Eastside, working with a team of passionate people that I consider family. When I am not at Eastside in the summer, you will find me anywhere near the water. I enjoy lake Washington and all of the beautiful rivers that we are so fortunate to have here. In the winter I enjoy bowling on a company league, visiting Leavenworth for both October fest and Christmas festivities. I believe in making every day count and appreciate working for a company that cares about family, both our customers and employees alike. “Our family protecting families since 1969”

I love spending time with my family especially my six-year-old daughter, I especially enjoy teaching her Spanish songs. I like my job because it gives me the opportunity to help lead a very hard working team, which I am very proud of. My favorite sport is soccer and I also enjoy motor sports. My current mission is to bring my mom to the US and once done I will be able to say I’m complete in having my daughter, wife, dad and my mom very close to me, they are my life.
Paul VanDeWalker – Outside Sales Manager
Whether it’s a sunrise hike or a jog in the rain, waking up early is vital to jump-starting my day. I live to create memories with my friends and my puppy. Frequent road-trips provide an opportunity to get outside of my comfort zone while experiencing all that the northwest has to offer. At Eastside, I’m part of an organization which is fueled by passion. I’m privileged to lead an incredible team and thankful for the platform I’ve been given to serve our customers. I hope that my ideas have a positive impact, and that I give enough back so that the world is a better place because I lived.
Shelby Christensen – Inside Sales Manager
I became employed with Eastside Exterminators back in February, 2015 and I positively love working for this company! The sense of community and team-work here is what really makes my job enjoyable. Outside of the office, you’ll find me spending quality time with my husband and daughter, getting a new tattoo, drinking lots of coffee, and spending time in the sun (what little we get, anyway).
Vicki Cornell – Scheduling Manager
I was born in the big sky state of Montana. My family and I moved to Spokane Washington when I was in 6th grade when my father took a job with Boeing. My father was injured on the job when I was in high school and was considered disabled. I began working as a dental assistant after school and during the summer to help support my parents and two younger sisters and my plans for college were put on hold. Several years later after my daughter was born I started my own business as a licensed day care provider which is where I met Alex and Deanna when they enrolled their children in my daycare! I enjoy the customer service aspect of my job the most. The great people I work with and for make my job even more enjoyable. Someday I would love to go to Egypt and visit the pyramids. This was my Mom’s dream that she was never able to attain. During my time away from work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching classic black and white movies—I believe I was born in the wrong era!!
Jennica Waldram – Accounts Manager
I was born and raised in Southern California before moving up to Seattle just before 2015. I immediately fell in love with the beautiful scenery, the energy of the area, and the beautiful overcast and rainy weather we get so often here. I started working at Eastside Exterminators toward the end of 2016 and it’s been a joy from the beginning. I very quickly realized that I’ve found my family in the wonderful people I get to work with every day. Outside of work, I love going on hikes, catching a yoga class when I can, and trying to cook new recipes I’ve never tried. I hope to one day start traveling more regularly to see family as well as countries I’ve never been to before.
